Fresh Flavor and Family Tradition at Damin Farm

Fresh Flavor and Family Tradition at Damin Farm

Nestled in the heart of the Mohawk Valley, Damin Farm has been serving the community with fresh, locally grown food for generations. What began as a family dairy farm has evolved into a thriving second-generation farm and farm store offering an impressive variety of homegrown products throughout the year.

Today, the Damin family raises angus-cross beef, pork, and chicken while also growing seasonal fruits and vegetables, including their well-loved sweet corn — a local favorite for more than 50 years. Visitors to the farm store will find everything from fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, berries, pumpkins, and garlic to maple syrup, honey, eggs, jams, jellies, pickles, fruit syrups, and several varieties of fermented sauerkraut. Many of these specialty products are crafted right on the farm in their commercial kitchen using ingredients grown on-site.

Beyond produce and pantry staples, Damin Farm reflects the diversity and resilience of family farming in the Hudson Mohawk region. The farm spans more than 600 acres and continues to adapt while maintaining its commitment to quality local food and community connections. In addition to the on-farm store, the Damins participate in regional festivals and markets, helping connect consumers directly with local agriculture.

A visit to Damin Farm offers more than just fresh food — it’s an opportunity to experience the hard work, tradition, and innovation that keep local agriculture thriving in New York State. Whether you are stocking up on summer vegetables, searching for homemade preserves, or planning your fall pumpkin trip, Damin Farm is a destination worth adding to your local food journey this season.
