Rogers Orchard: A Johnstown Tradition Since 1970

September is here, and that means apple season is in full swing! One of the Greater Capital region’s favorite fall destinations is Rogers Family Orchard in Johnstown, NY—a farm that has been growing fresh fruit and welcoming visitors for over 50 years.

The orchard was established in 1970 when Don Rogers purchased a 50-acre farm. His son, Todd, took over in 1992, carrying on the family tradition and expanding it into a thriving third-generation business. Today, Rogers Orchard is home to thousands of trees, a wide variety of apples, fresh produce, and even a popular cidery.

  • Pick Your Own Apples – Enjoy a crisp fall day wandering the orchard rows.
  • Visit the Country Store – Stock up on cider, baked goods, and seasonal produce.
  • Family Traditions – From apple picking to pumpkin hunting, Rogers Family Orchard offers memories in the making.

Whether you’re looking for the perfect apple for baking pies, sipping on fresh cider, or simply enjoying the views of the Mohawk Valley, Rogers Orchard is the place to be this fall.
