Samascott's Garden Market Celebrating 14 years

Samascott's Garden Market Celebrating 14 years

More than 50 years ago, Samascott's Garden Market, formerly known as Brosen's, began as a garden center with 13 greenhouses and a small food market.  In 2005 the market was purchased by the Samascott family. They began construction on new greenhouses and the farm store in 2011 and opened the new garden market in 2012.

In the Samascott’s greenhouses, customers can select from more than 30 varieties of perennials, 60 varieties of annuals, 30 different vegetable and herb plants, house plants, poinsettias, and thousands of beautiful hanging baskets.  In addition, the garden market offers a range of supplies to take care of all of your gardening needs including unique pots and planters, durable gardening tools and gloves, soil and mulch and garden décor.

In their market you will find an abundance of fruits and vegetables picked fresh from their farm and other local farms when in season.  They also carry dozens of locally made food items such as cheeses, chocolates, sauces, jams, nut butters, breads, cookies, biscotti, frozen meats and more.

The Samascotts make a large selection of homemade foods in their kitchen including soups and salads, grain bowls, sandwiches, quiche and pot pies, tamales, beef bistec, Mexican rice and beans, homemade ice cream and a variety of baked goods.
