Dreamroad Farm Announces Opening of New Farm Store

Sandra Scott and Rebecca Ferry are pleased to announces the opening of their new farm store that features products from local farms.  The self-serve farm store, located at 193 LaGrange Road in Johnstown, NY, is open 24/7 365 days a year.  In addition to a large variety of locally produce products, the Ferrys feature their own pasture-raised beef and pork that’s available by the cut or in bulk packages.  “We strive to provide high quality products for our customers and educate them about the importance of agriculture and supporting local farms,” said Rebecca Ferry.

In 2016, Sandra and Rebecca purchased the farm from their parents and have expanded it to include the farm store, tent sites and RV overnight parking sites.  TentRR tents sites are available by booking online.  Two sites are available with views of the pasture and cornfields.  For RVers, the Ferry’s participate as Harvest Hosts – a RV membership program that allows self-contained travelers to overnight at unique locations around the country including farms, wineries, museums, breweries, and more.

Since the mid-1960s, Sandra and Rebecca’s parents built a great reputation for breeding Excellent Jersey cows. They recently were awarded the American Jersey Cattle Association’s Premier Breeder award for breeding outstanding animals for many years and making a notable contribution to the advancement of the Jersey breed in the United States.

Dreamroad Farm is a participating farm in Fulton and Montgomery Counties’ Farm to Table Tour on July 30th.  The participating farms open their doors to educate and connect consumers to local goods and services.
