Saratoga Farmers’ Market Looks Ahead to Its 48th Year By Jodie Fitz

As the Saratoga Farmers’ Market heads into 2026, it does so with pride, momentum, and a deep commitment to the community; celebrating 48 years of serving Saratoga and the surrounding region.

A Year in Review

The past year showcased the strength and diversity of the market’s vendor community. During the outdoor season, the Saratoga Farmers’ Market hosted more than 70 vendors every Saturday at High Rock Park, offering an impressive selection of local farm products, prepared foods, and artisan goods along with four different festivals.

The popular Wednesday mid-week market at High Rock Park featured over 20 vendors, providing another opportunity for shoppers to connect with local producers. In addition, the market continued its satellite market in Clifton Park, operating on Mondays from mid-June through mid-October, expanding access to fresh, local food across the region.

Winter Market & What’s Ahead in 2026

As winter sets in, the Saratoga Farmers’ Market remains a vibrant community hub. The Winter Market at Wilton Mall is open every Saturday from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, featuring nearly 50 local vendors. The winter season runs through the end of April, offering everything from farm-fresh foods to specialty items and artisan products.

Shoppers can also look forward to:

  • Live music throughout the winter season
  • FREE yoga classes, beginning January 10th
  • A Kids’ Table with fun, educational activities hosted by the Saratoga Springs Public Mobile Library on the first and third Saturdays of each month
  • Cooking Demos with our Fresh Eats Program with CDPHP and so much more

Wellness Week & Community Partnerships

The market kicks off the new year by participating in the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce’s Wellness Week on January 10th. As part of this celebration, the market will host two engaging cooking demonstrations:

  • A mocktail and digestion-focused demo with Awakened Tonics
  • A gluten-free cooking demonstration with Katie Bakes GF
  • The 2026 launch of the free yoga program with Yoga Mandali
  • AND, free shopping bags via a partnership with Healthy Living Market

Both demonstrations are part of the FRESH EATS partnership with CDPHP, highlighting the market’s ongoing focus on wellness, nutrition education, and accessible healthy living.

Looking Forward

As it enters its 48th year, the Saratoga Farmers’ Market continues to grow, evolve, and bring people together while supporting local farms, small businesses, and community wellness year-round. With a full calendar of markets, activities, and partnerships ahead, 2026 promises to be another exciting year of connection, creativity, and local impact.
