Poestenkill Farmers' Market

The Poestenkill Farmers' Market is located on the front lawn of the Poestenkill Town Hall.  It's sponsored by the Poestenkill Business Association.  The market is open every Saturday beginning June 17 through September 30 from 9 am to noon.  There are 12 regular weekly vendors, up to 6 vendors that participate occassionally and a couple of nonprofit organizations that have informational spaces.  The vendors are all local and offer their locally grown/made/crafted products as well as some regional favorites.  The 2017 season brings items from Battenkill Creamery; Argyle Cheese Farmers; Oscar's Smokehouse and cheesecake from the Nuns of New Skete as well as fresh and seasonal produce, honey, maple syrup, jams and jellies, chicken and pork, baked goods and handcrafted items.
