Support Your Local Farms and Food System

With shortages in the grocery store as a result of the disruption to our food system, it’s a great opportunity to support local farms.  When you purchase from farmers, you are getting farm fresh products as well as supporting your local community.  Nothing is more important than a flexible food supply that is in close proximity to the customers, so buy locally grown and support your local food system!

Farmers markets, greenhouses and nurseries are now open in the Capital Region.  They have a variety of products ranging from early season vegetables to tomato transplants for your garden.  As a result of the restrictions due to the coronavirus, some farms and farmers’ markets are offering online ordering, curbside pick-up and delivery.   Please check with the farm's or farmers’ market's website or facebook page for updates regarding their products and services.
