Ice Cream and More at King Bros. Dairy

Ice Cream and More at King Bros. Dairy

Kings-Ransom Farm was established in 1901 by Andrew King who started out as a tenant farmer and absentee landlord.  Andrew purchased 300 acres where he and his sons milked cows, raised hogs, crew crops and boarded mules.  Fast forward to 2010 when Jan and Jeff King decided to expand their delivery service to homes in the local area and now make over 700 deliveries per week offering their farm fresh milk and beef, Cabot Cheeses and Butter, Oscars Smokehouse, Misty Knolls Poultry, and many other local products.

Jan and Jeff King take pride in producing quality products, so they can provide their customers with fresh milk and ice cream produced, processed and made on the farm.  The King Brothers are devoted to producing superior products from their herd of healthy Holstein dairy cows.  After the cows are milked, the milk is cooled and goes directly to the processing plant located on the farm.  After it’s processed and bottled, the milk is stored in coolers on the farm and the rest is distributed to stores throughout the Capital Region.

In May 2019 the King Brothers opened their retail store where they sell ice cream, milk, chocolate milk and many local products.  With over 70 ice cream flavors, the store is offering seasonal flavors including eggnog, Christmas Cookie, Peppermint, Snickernog, Cinnamon, Rum Raisin and Hot But It’s Not this season.  In addition, ice cream sandwiches, ice cream pies and ice cream cupcakes are available.

You can purchase King Brothers Dairy farm fresh milk and other products at their retail store, through their delivery service or at several grocery stores in the Capital Region.

The retail store is open year-round.   For more information, visit https://kingbrothers.deliverybizpro.com/ .
